Chapter VI

RELATIONS AND COOPERATION WITH INSTITUTIONS AT THE DUTY STATION

The officials of a Royal Nepalese Mission must maintain close and cordial relations with the following institutions in the duty station :

6.1 Government Offices

• Ministry and Department of Trade or Commerce,

• Ministry of Finance

• Customs, Trade and Revenue Departments

• Trade Promotion Agencies

6.2 Import or Trade Promotion Bodies

• Import Promotion Organizations (A list of names and addresses of such organizations is given in Annex VII)

• National Chamber of Commerce and Industry

• Local Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the capital and principal cities

• Social organizations or NGOs promoting employment and entrepreneurship in developing countries

• Association of Importers of related products 

6.3 Trading sectors involved in products of Nepal's interest

• Importers and distributors

• Commission agents

• Department stores

• Chain stores

• Retailers.
